RE the leash – you stopped using it because someone told you it was stupid? really? and now you’re telling us not to use them cause they are stupid? what’s so dangerous about them? if you use it properly it’s much safer for the dog than a conventional leash.
What’s dangerous is having a big untrained setter attached to it’s owner by a thin string with the only thing stopping it from jumping all over my convalesing dog is a tiny ratchet inside said plastic piece of junk. A conventional leash gives you much more control and forces you to TRAIN your talk to stay near you and not bother other dogs.
Chick leashes are for lazy people.
