You wear your emotions on your sleave sometimes..and the power in those emotions is amazing. You forever honor Juan and that love and what you both shared no matter what a piece of paper says..it shows more all the time. Hopefully more and more people can learn to understand the meaning of the word love.

Very sad and unjust.

I’ve never listen to your podcast… because I’m a lazy bloated whore, but… I want to say something here: . I have no words. My heart is with you. I can’t imagine that pain and frustration. I agree that it is unjust that anyone is denied legal acknowledgment of their union. It’s ironic how so much is missing when it comes to freedom if you don’t fit into the tiny perfect-American mold. Much love to you… I’ll listen now.

I’ve had friends who had their whole partnership ignored and hidden by family, press etc. after their partners (really husbands and spouses) died – because it wasn’t ‘official’, or the family choose not to recognise them; because people don’t want to rock the boat, etc.

It makes me sick – things are better here with civil partnership but still a long way to go.

And yes I do remember all this, hugs from me.

this video made me sad : ( its just not fair. I remember listening to one of your shows and you played ” The Cure ” Pictures of you. Every time I here that song I think of you and Juan/Gussy. I know this is not the same but at least the people who love you and care about you recognized your marriage.
