I loved the music. Could you tell me what was that gothic mumbling echoes at the beginning and the campy musical/opera at the end with the harpsichord and strings? I’d like to track them down.

The end musical was from Cats. I’m not sure what you mean by gothic mumblings, but there was a loop of a chorus from madamme butterfly playing throughout most of the mix. Could you please send me all the tracks you want me to play in a new email?

TWIT bores the living shit out of me. Attention deficit plus belt cancer gadgets. I listened to all of about two episodes before dropping it from my subscriptions. Much prefer the more intellectual end of the tech podcasts – the late great Gillmor Gang, IT Conversations – and That Is Real Good Tech.
Mike Arrington seems to be a case of the beige khaki with cancer side salad look.
I was hanging out with some Yahoo employees tonight, and had difficulty finding the right line between “give me a job, I need money, please please please” and “why does your company give information about dissidents email accounts to the Chinese government?” I’m hoping that at events like BarCamp the ethics of tech companies like Google and Yahoo going in to China is a session we can bring up and a conversation that we can start.
