Matthew Barney is amazing. He is from Idaho (not Iowa) and I have had the chance to meet him many times, brilliant person.

Madge – We both grew up in the same small town of Boise Idaho. He is four years older then me, so I really didn’t meet him until after he left and came back to show his work (sculpture, film) in our art museum. Since popular art in Boise is southwest sandpaintings and acrylic seascapes when we came only a few people would show up so there was alot of one on one time with Matthew. I was lucky enough to have been at BSU (stadium with blue turf) during the shooting of “CREMASTER 1″ covering it for a news story, and even held a blimp while they got ready… was quite an amazing thing to watch him work.

Next time you do an interview you might wannna prepare a bit more. Looking for music to play while having a guest over made it sound a bit unstructured. Or is that just a shtick?

Madge, wanted to chime in on the Gannon story. For my part, it’s not a big deal because he was part of the White House press corp… and that little incestuous group does no journalism, ever. So its just not important, in my opinion. Now, why do the masses not care? Tahat part Im not sure, probably because he doesn’t have a dress with a cum stain… hmm.. im sure theres one somewhere.
PCLiberal just did a new podcast I think.
