Google ads are retarded. If Google was supposedly so brilliant in cumming up with their big deal algorithm for rating sites based on links, how could they possibly be so stupid in their ad selection? I mean it totally sucks. The money you get is laughable. Google = dumb pompous hubris queens. Lets see how long it takes them to ban me from their precious service.
This fucking thing keeps downloading all podcasts for feeds OVER and OVER again, which is killing my bandwidth and making less available for my web server. What other osx podcatcher can I use without having to re-enter all of my feeds? I’ve checked the ipodderx support forum and they know about this problem but don’t have a fix yet. I need more coffee. I like ipodderx and will switch back to it once it’s fixed, but I need something right away.

So I’ve been reading a lot, I mean A LOT about the business models for podcasting and all this related crap. Everyone’s talking about business models, how to make money, which technology is a fad, satelite vs. podcasting vs. 3G phones, etc., who will squash whom. I think many people are missing the point: It’s about content. Without content there is no business model. Content.
Don’t you just love when independently wealthly ex-hippies preach that podcasters should not be too commercial? Please! It’s OK for a CEO to make 100million a year to extort labor from Chinese peasants, but I can’t make a penny for making a few people laugh? I’m so sick of the attidue that artists should work for free. If artists have to work for free, then so should CEO’s, accountants, and marketing vultures.
