Nice to hear you speak maydgue, you bring much wisdom. I feel like you and ragan fox should do a grum again maybe zxxxxxx

Of all people, Auntie Vera Charles turned me onto Joni Mitchell. I was familiar with a couple of her songs already, but Vera played a version of Both Sides Now from her Travelogue album, which is beautifully arranged with a jazz orchestra. Her voice is deeper and more seasoned, and when she says she really doesn’t know life at all, you can believe she means it. That album threw the door open for me to all things Joni. Every song on that album is spectacular. Thank you for another grum, Madge.

Correction. I hate that I made this mistake, but the updated Both Sides Now is on her 2000 album Both Sides Now, not Travelogue. It’s all excellent though.

Madge darling! Haven’t caught the grim in a while. But I couldn’t resist hearing someone having “first contact” with Joni!

words matter. As Sam Harris, who I’m not that big a fan of, but he has said some interesting things about the conflict, as Harris says, “We all live in Israel now. We just don’t know it”. At least ews do.
