I don’t like to call people names but Bill Maher is kind of a moron, and from the one book I’ve read of his, borderline illiterate. As an intellectual he is risible. He only seems to read op-eds, and one would be far more enlightened on the medium of comics (as separated from the genre of superheroes) by READING the works of Alan Moore, Michael Chabon, Jim Woodring, Gilbert Hernandez, Daniel Clowes, David Mazzuchelli, Art Spiegelman and Grant Morrison, just for starters. If one is a lesbian, one MUST become INTIMATE with the works of Alison Bechdel, Phoebe Gloeckner, Ellen Forney and Dina DiMassa, post haste! If one is Cheryl, read Julie Doucet.

Just dropping in here to say that I’ve spotted Noddles and Beef back at the gym for the first time since the murder. He’s with one pup. I saw my first independent pup back at the gym as early as Jan 1.
