[…] you bastards have to listen to Yeast Radio. Now. Or I kill you in face with […]
Tonight’s New Media Revolution That Changed Everything focused on Seesmic.com members showing each other their family photos:
Madge, I love it when you get angry and go off on people. However, in this one you were complaining about how downloads are going down and people complain when you change things. Well, let me ask you this, Who this show belong to? Who’s vision is supposed to become reality at the end of every episode? Who IS the heart and soul of Yeast Radio? Do whatever you want with your show. It’s your art its your experiences, it’s all you. Sure, having an audience is nice and all that mess, but would you rather make your art sound like what a few like or have a show that sounds the way you do? Its your voice, your soul, that makes this show what it is. Furthermore, this is YOUR audioblog. Yeast Radio is about your life, your thoughts, your experiences. Once again, its all you. Do not censor your style or evergrowing personality because in the end, Yeast Radio will not belong to you. It will belong to the few who want you to say cunt every two minutes and complain about nothing. This is YOUR show Madge, make it what you want it to be.
Amen, Gus!
Yeast Radio got its spark back with these live shows. The content that is up is hilarious, thought-provoking and brilliant. So, you know what try getting over yourself, Mary. Christ! This show should be your art, your expression, and do it when you feel compelled.
I am in love with Madge and her universe more than ever, but when the fuck did you start caring about that? Goddamn stupid fucking bitch.
The live shows are excellent. Even with the technological difficulties (the echoes trouble was priceless entertainment), web censorship and phone difficulties it was all worth it. Original content, provocative banter (ArmyWife 25, the ‘Tranny’ turette’s man, those who think you’re a drag queen – although you did mistakenly say you were one before correcting yourself in the ‘shitcast’ (YR 27.05.2004 pt2).
I am in total agreement with Gus. I have to download the live shows as 11h CST is 17h GMT and I am still toiling away at the office.
The live shows have been fun, and I hope they bring more audience, but I’m primarily audio-oriented and don’t much like to have a certain time daily to tune in. I can just imagine the visual part at any time of day, while doing whatever. Isn’t that supposed to be the attraction of the podcast format?
I’m one of your 14 listeners and proud of it. Copying? Copying? Imitation is the highest form of flattery and all that. Sometimes I don’t know where Madge ends and Cheryl begins and Wanda ends and Madge begins and on and on ad nauseum.
I love it that you love audio. Audio is the best. But people hate the audio. You know why? It’s take work that’s why. It takes work to appreciate.
“I have often reaped what others have sowed. My work is the work of a collective being that bears the name Goethe.”

Now you think it’s so hard being a fat bloated lesbian jew? Well try putting yourself in my shoes why don’t you? Try being a fat bloated lesbian jew like me.
