Have you seen Zeitgeist? I think you may have talked about it before between some prolypsed vajeen monologues. It all sounds very familiar, but this time convincing. I’m not sure what to make of it yet. Still checking the sources.
I didn’t like it. Joseph Campbell’s The Power of Myth is the same general idea as Zeitgeist, minus the conspiracy theory and plus the academic sources and validity.
Loving the Trotsky.
Madge, I am aghast at all these supposed “liberals” here in NYC that are protesting Ahmadinejad’s speaking and question and answer engagement today—some going so far as to demand that the state and the New York City Council cut ALL funding for Columbia. Now, I’m no fan of Ahmadinejad’s, but don’t these people realize that starting a dialogue with those who oppose us is a very constructive, very drastic, and much needed change?! Columbia isn’t legitimizing the crazy things he says. They’re saying, “How about diplomacy for once?” Meanwhile, these schmucky protesters with Obama pins on their eco-friendly messenger bags end up sounding like Fred Thompson. Ugh.
Hello the comment is amazing.
