ummm… I do believe yesterday was April Fool’s. That and the fact that they offered to deliver “hundred of thousands of your emails within 2-4 business days with ads on the back in BOLD, RED 36-point helvetica…No pop-ups, no flashy animations—these are physically impossible in the paper medium.”
But this little gem was the tip off for me that Gmail Paper was/is an April fool joke:

God, what a mess. I thought that tired queen sucking cock for cash was the stupidest, most vapid guest you’ve ever had on the show… but then you had that horrible Ali/Fausto sound a like from Rottendam back on. Both are totally repulsive cumbuckets, don’t they realise that sexual desperation is completely unsexy?
I must admit though its always fun hearing you attempting to hit on guys but can’t directly because you’re “in character”.

(I’m posting here (mostly) because of the junk entry at the (current) bottom of the responses.) This one was a little off, I thought. A lot of time was spent talking about trying to find things in email or webpages. Then, Madge! it was so unlike you to let your guests remain confused regarding you being the reigning lesbian of podcasting. And show notes? You need to find someone new.
Finally, I don’t know why you are so unpleasant with Cheryl. Hanging up on her was really harsh. Talking over her is a bit rude under the best of circumstances — she is, or at least seemed to be, one of your better friends — but doing it (and in a really mean way) when the alternative was a mumbling Saudi (was he really?) who knew very little about his country’s judicial processes (which you let him get away with) didn’t improve the podcast. Cheryl is my favorite of your guests and when the two of you are on the same side of the fence and wreaking havoc on others it’s always terrifically funny. For some time now it has been looking like a really dysfunctional relationship, and that makes me feel lousy. There are so many wretched things out there to address (and shred), why do it to your friends?
Oh well, I’ve been meaning to send you any number of things I’m certain you’ll find amusing (at the very least) and now I feel obligated to — actually, I’ll email you one of them directly I’m done with this. I hope your email can handle a big attachment. Cheers!

I didn’t HATE this show entirely, the only Yeast Radio episode that was just plain god awful was that really pointless one in Europe when Madge’s queeny travelling companion interviewed some homeless bellringer man. Every show has its moments.

Worst episode ever, which is hard to do. Loved every minute of it.
That arab dude was annoying as shit. Notice that he answers every one of madge’s questions with a question. madge has to repeat and then he actually answers. Sounds like he’s been rode hard and put up wet.
