A Must See Play in Chicago!

Amy from WindyCityQueercast is appearing in what will be an amazing play. You won’t want to miss this. Trust me! I’ll let her give you the details:

Hello friends –

It has been a while since I have asked any of you to come see me in anything BUT I am SO proud of this production. It feels like an important work for today and an opportunity to reclaim history.

The play is EXECUTION OF JUSTICE by Emily Mann. San Francisco, 1978. Former City Supervisor Dan White calmly loaded his gun, entered City Hall through an open basement window, and proceeded upstairs to assassinate Mayor George Moscone and Supervisor Harvey Milk (the first openly gay politician elected to high office), killing each with multiple shots fired at point blank range. The ensuing trial was epic, the verdict was legendary.

Our production is directed by Gary Griffin (who directed The Color Purple on Broadway) and is an ensemble of 12 amazing people. It has been a very moving and powerful experience. Plus my girlfriend Kelli is also in the cast and that has been very special to me.
