thanks for mentioning our deal with AJE – yea, they liked our podcasts and vlogs – so they contacted us – and now we have a six film deal with them – the first was shown a couple of weeks ago – we’re in post-production on 2 and 3 and we begin shooting the rest next month…

on the subject of getting paid – so far, we’ve been able to stick to our principles and our mission statement; aiding in whatever way we can the global insurrection against the corporate occupation – This has led us to getting a radio show in paris, a radio show in London – a monthly column in The Ecologist magazine – and now AJE, a network that shares our vision of a free press, which, of course, includes bloggers and podcasters. That was very cool for you to mention me, Madge. I happened across that Banksy quote right as I was listening to you talk about gaining listeners and so forth.

I bet that most of the other producers in my narrow niche don’t consider themselves as making “art”. I certainly do, and I would really like to join up with a larger organization of podcasting artists that would like to have me.

I’m really successful in getting paid for my podcast by landing sponsors that give me free triathlon gear to use and test. Works out pretty well for my podcast about a hobby to pay for my hobby.

I found that quote at http://www.banksy.co.uk.
