    The comments about conspiracy got me thinking, it had never realy occurred to me that it might make liberals look foolish and undermind their ability to bring about change.
    Does anyone think that Bush will face any charges? For a while it seemed to us in the UK that America was right behind thier President but I get the feeling that the worm is turning? Blairs involvement in the war has basicly been his downfall and now he is a lame duck Prime Minister.

    No one is saying that this didn’t happen, but many people believe and myself included that this administation was complicit in these attacks. They may not have planned it, but they certainly could have stopped it and chose not to. I don’t think that this makes me or anyone else a conspiracy theorist. You should educate yourself about the atrocities that have been committed by the leaders of this country over the last 50 years.

    These global leaders and bankers have fucked nearly every country on this planet, murdering and literally starving entire populations. The US government has been a tool, and now it’s time for them to fuck the american people so that the few can satisfy their greed. Why would we be any different?

    I watched the DN report. They are not saying that they planes did not crash into the buildings. They pose a question about the pentagon damage and if it could be ond eby a plane. There are unanswered question that should be answered, like.. Why did chenny have norad stand down, why were the rules changed so that only bush rumsfeld and chenny were the only ones to have authority to order norad to take out the planes. Why were all records of this expunged from the internet.

      I’m a little late to this party having just returned from about five weeks in the crazier-than-ever U.S. This was an excellent show, btw.

      I agree with Erik. I don’t subscribe to conspiracy theories but in a democracy I do expect accountability. I’ve always believed that the Bush administration were complicit in these attacks–there’s a reason why the likes of 9/11 were never seen before or since.

      But I certainly do not deny that it happened. I do question how it came about. I definitely count myself among the Truth Movement. See http://www.scholarsfor911truth.org/ for more.

    I guess that when the public start to debate the idea of conspracy theories, throwing arguments back and forth, each side claiming that they are right, the more the truth gets buried. And the more conspiracy theories that are bandied about the more the real events are lost. What I took from Madge’s comments, and I appologies if I got them wrong, was that the more different conspiracy theories there are out there, the easier it is for any government to sit back and watch the truth get lost. I suppose that the US government are quite happy about that.
