The Iraqi officials might have confused Norm with Noam (as in Chomsky) an easy mistake to make, as the line was poor.
The Iraqi official’s comment was poignant when he said “not so simple” an axiom that humanity should always adopt instead of the preferred mechanistic one of the US administration.
