It’s hard to justify, and empathize with Muslims doing things like rioting and storming embassies, when the justification is a none issues. Things like this do not normally occur in civilized societies.

Islam, either is, or is not a religion of peace. I don’t know which one it is, because some if its followers seem to be lacking that

  There ARE progressive Muslim denominations out there (as with any religion, Christianity etc) but the crazy fundamentalists seem to get the most media attention. I think the reaction over the cartoon is fucking apalling and these motherfuckers should not be defended. I really wish all psychotic religious wingnuts of all religions would just be shipped off to an island where they can battle it out without dragging us athiests and agnostics into their bloody mess. Who else is really sick of having to deal with people who can’t accept reality?
  
  These past few shows (apart from the hilarious, gross talk with this Alie guy) have been very emotional and upsetting. Gussie’s illness has really pushed the show into a even more personal, softer and yet raw territory. It’s actually quite brilliant. The situation must be horrible for you, I wish I could help in some way.

      I don’t know Madge — she may have something there with that corn-cock-tion. If you feed the yeast corn smeared on a cock it would probably make a yeasty marsh — and it would smell. Of course, one would probably want to wear sweaty clothes for a couple of days to keep it all warm and moist.
