ps here’s a really interesting perspective from someone in New Orleans. She says it was the Police who started the looting and alot of interesting things.

Set-up a tent city on Dubya’s Crawford, Texas ranch. He has plenty of room there and I’d like to see him say no. They can use lightweight concrete for structures too.

Outside my apartment, a Jimmy Buffet concert goes on and everyone drinks themselves to oblivion for two days. People are dying. And the people drink.

I think there’s nothing more laughable than old money scions trying to slum it and get “down with the peeps.” It’s great that they’re doing something, but it’s always less than they COULD do. And even then, only because it would “look bad” if they didn’t. I wish she’d stay indoors. She and Laura could just have a quilting bee.

OK I am just going to say it… People get what they deserve. I am not saying that anyone deserves to die in a tragedy like this, But they voted for George Bush, and he keeps these people oppressed, and he ignored their pleas for help, and he didn’t send help to get them out before or after the disaster.. This is a lesson to us all. PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT MATTERS.. This past election people were all caught up on gay marriage and abortion and every other christian issue, and failed to see what really matters… Humanity and Peace… So this is a FORCED AWARENESS, WAKE THE FUCK UP AND PAY ATTENTION…….
