That was (probably unintentionally) misleading about Go-Daddy. The price is “from” $3.95 but gets higher quickly. You actually get only 500 megs storage and 25 gigs of bandwidth for that price. Still not bad.
Your wireless situation could be interference. It could also be feedback. As in…the mic feeding back into your headset. Could happen and since you called it a “high-pitched squeal” I first thought of feedback.
If that’s not it, you might have to switch the kind of wireless you have say from VHF to UHF. Your interference could be from there. Email me if you want to dissect your wireless issue.
Keep up the great “cunt-tent”. Oh, and fuck the ratings. I personally don’t give a shit and I don’t ask my listeners to vote for me and all that crap. They have better things to do with their time.

I’ve been using wireless mic for years and the new 900Mhz FM units can get interferences from digital wireless devices (like cordless phones and wireless lans). I did have an issue with one UHF FM unit having a receiver off frequency which caused a “screeching” type of sound when it received a modulated signal. But, both of thiese are pure guesses. If you can record the sound and email it or post it? Then I can probably give you a more informed guess ;-}

xeb- the sound frequently occurs in my recordings, as I use my wireless much of the time. For example, the abortion show of this week had the noise. It is probably evident less becausse of the cuntpression but present nevertheless.
Listened to the abortion show, I didn’t hear the problem. It probably was masked by the compression (and my less then optimal computer speakers). As long as it’s not distracting from the show, I wouldn’t worry about it! I’ll listen for it in up cumming shows…
Tried to post this yesterday but site was screwy… this particular episode, while not one of my favorites nor one of the more entertaining shows was VERY well done and tight. Madge, you’re really getting the hang of it my dear. Just my flato-opinion.
