Another example of the beauty of podcasting and why editing is often the enemy of truth, in all its imperfect detail. Thanks for being a human being, big sis. I love and will now use, ad nauseum, the phrase “It’s water under the crotch!”

i can’t seem to find the democracy now podcast link, only offers to buy the shows. do they still offer them for free somewhere? also, have you listened to rachel maddow, on air america? she posts her show every morning. very left (like that’s a bad thing), but good news, entertaining, and she’s a lesbian!

MUCH better sound, Madge…

What is this Whore Audio you keep talking about? I am but a PC user, and open source Audacity only occasionally fucks up.

In terms of news sources, I absolutely agree that talking heads (angry white male talk radio etc) is the worst thing to happen to the minds of political americunts.

I just got distracted, because I am watching Al Jazeera news network, and though it is in Arabic, it seems to be a feature about a US boot camp for young offenders… Mainly Hispanics… Some of the inmates seem to be merely 10 or 12 years old.

One of the “drills” they featured was soaking the kids in ice cold water, screaming at them, then have them stand in line (shivering and crying) to take turns immersing themselves entirely in a Rubbermaid trash can full of ice cubes and water (topping the water off with a garden hose).

THIS WAS IN AMERICA!!!???

Seen that on your CNN lately, bitches?

oy vey indeed.

I know that the boot camp of today’s army bascially tortures the soldiers, supposedly to make them “know what to expect.” But really I think it’s to break them down, i.e. brainwashing. See Lucky Bitch Radio’s podcast, episode “Seargent Assfucker” with an interview with one of the soldierrs.

Just listened to your show for the first time. I’m an instant fan or yours and podcasting. People being able to express how they really feel is the foundation of our country and I hope you never give up on helping all grow in the wake of your honesty.

However, I was a little disappointed that you only recognize two political parties in this country. I for one enjoy voting for a primarily for candidate of a third party who comes significantly closer to standing for what I believe in than the two you recognize. I vote this way and encourage others to as well because I understand that as longs as we always vote Republican or Democrate the neither of them will ever be truely threatened as a party and thus business as usual. When an entities existence is threatened an opertunity for reform is presented. Most of us are unhappy with the performance of both Democrates and Repulicans yet we just keep vasilating on which evil to put into power. So, why exactly would we expect any change at a fundamental level?

Rob, what you say is true…unfortunately, I think many people have come to the sad conclusion that third parties aren’t viable, because they don’t get enough of a voter base to upset the “machine” parties. I think we’re beginning to see that change (slowly), but up until now, people have just felt that if they really wanted to effect change, they had to throw their weight behind whichever candidate of the two “machine” parties was more closely aligned with their beliefs and priorities (and let’s face it, hasn’t it been a “lesser of two evils” scenario for at least the last 15 years or more?).

As more and more people become disenchanted with big business political ties, maybe we’ll see them throw up their hands and say “What the hell…let’s vote for someone completely different!” Then we can have some REAL excitement on election days!

(Oops, my soapbox just broke…and damn, it gave me a splinter!) 🙂

A very interesting website. I plan to access it again when I get home and have more time. There is much I need to look into here.
