Y’know, it’s always bugged me how casually people toss the word “friend” around. Either people are using it in a very generic fashion or they’re not as discernig as I am. I have lots and lots of acquaintances and a handful of friends and only one best friend.
It really takes a lot of trust building for me to consider someone a friend. It can take years. My best friend is someone I can really let it all hang out and not have to worry about any judgements. He loves me and accepts me for who I am as I do of him.
But this “friend” nonsense has got to stop.
