PITTSBURGH — Online erotic stories host Red Rose Stories announced on its site Friday that the FBI had forced it to shut down.
According to a posting on the site’s main page, Red Rose Stories is facing obscenity charges for posting stories that allegedly involved bestiality, water sports, scat, bondage and domination, S&M, slavery, threesomes, orgies and sex with children.
According to Rosie, who runs the site, such topics have opened the door to her prosecution.
“Trust me on this. I found out the hard way. I never thought I’d be in trouble for the written word,” Rosie told XBiz via email. “I had no pictures of a sexual nature on my site, adult or otherwise. [It seems] the only legal sex stories are those that involve a man and a woman consenting to missionary position sex in a dark room.”
Rosie said officials came to her house when she was not home and seized a number of items.
The men in black took all of my computer equipment and many of my diskettes, and have access to all my files and site information,” she wrote. “I am sorry to inform all interested parties that Red Rose Stories is a dead site.”
Rosie said that chat services on the site, as well as some parts to its forum, would remain open, and suggested subscribers contact the Pittsburgh FBI office if they “want to ask the feds for a refund.”
As of this writing, calls by XBiz to the office were not returned.
News of the site’s closure comes just days after the offices of Max Hardcore’s Max World Entertainment were raided under the authority of the Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section of the Justice Department, and little more than a week after the FBI launched an anti-obscenity squad at the behest of Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to increase obscenity prosecutions throughout the country.

I’m making an educated guess that the reason none of my vidcasts encoded with h.264 do not work on the video ipod is because the cpu in the vidpod cannot handle that much processing.
I’ve been going insane trying to figure this out. Why do my friend’s videos which were encoded in 3ivx work but my h.264 quicktime encoded videos not play on the videopod?
Then I looked at how apples own vids are encoded and it’s using mpeg4 not h.264. There can be no other reason that I can think of.
So now I have to re-encode all of my shit because Apple is retarded.

In a scathing attack on the record of President George W. Bush, Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, chief of staff to Mr Powell until last January, said: “What I saw was a cabal between the vice-president of the United States, Richard Cheney, and the secretary of defense, Donald Rumsfeld, on critical issues that made decisions that the bureaucracy did not know were being made.
“Now it is paying the consequences of making those decisions in secret, but far more telling to me is America is paying the consequences.”

Former intelligence agents have told the New York Daily News that members of the White House Iraq Group funnelled information to Judith Miller and that she was a “charter member” of the group.
There were a number of occasions when White House officials or Vice President [Cheney's] staffers, or others, wanted to push the envelope on things,” an ex-intelligence official said. “The agency would say, ‘We just don’t have the intelligence to substantiate that.’” When Wilson was sent by his wife to Africa to research the claims, he showed the documents claiming Saddam tried to buy the uranium were forgeries. “People in the Iraq group then got very frustrated. It was a side show,” said a source familiar with WHIG.
Besides Rove and Libby, the group included senior White House aides Karen Hughes, Mary Matalin, James Wilkinson, Nicholas Calio, Condoleezza Rice and Stephen Hadley. WHIG also was doing more than just public relations, said a second former intel officer. “They were funneling information to [New York Times reporter] Judy Miller. Judy was a charter member,” the source said.

Report: White House Official May Have Flipped

Raw Story reports that the New York Daiy News will report in Tuesday’s edition that a high level White House official has flipped and is now helping Fitzgerald.
We’ll know in a few hours what the Daily News has to say, but I predict if it’s true, it’s Karl Rove who flipped on Friday and gave up Cheney. Karl Rove attended most of the meetings of the White House Iraq Group and according to Raw Story’s report, the flip has something to do with a source now advising that Cheney personally attended two of the meetings where Kristof’s May, 2003 New York Times article and Pincus’s June 2003 WaPo article on Joe Wilson were discussed. Cheney has said he didn’t know about Wilson until after Wilson’s July 6 op-ed appeared.
Why would Rove’s latest grand jury appearance have taken 4 1/2 hours if all he was talking about was his conversation with Matthew Cooper and e-mail to Stephen Hadley?
